Quincy asked to limit water use Monday

The MWRA will be repairing a leak in the water main that delivers most of Quincy's water supply. 

Residents may experience a loss of water pressure from about 7pm Monday evening to 6am Tuesday morning. 

Water may become discolored from small amounts of iron in the pipes and may stain light colored laundry items.   However,  the water is safe for drinking, cooking, etc.

You may want to put off doing laundry during this time(Monday evening to Tuesday morning).
