Subject: Important Storm Information
Dear Residents of Hill at Furnace Brook Condo,
A major nor'easter is expected to impact New England on Saturday, bringing snow and strong winds that may topple trees and power lines and cause power outages.
A few reminders:
-
Please do not contact the answering service for power outages. Call the electric company who services your area.
-
Please do not engage with the snow personnel; all issues should be sent by email to the Manager.
-
Please be patient as the vendors are working hard and long hours to keep your main areas cleared; parking spaces will not be cleared until well after the duration of the storm. Snow vendors need a break to get some sleep and cannot be on site 24/7.
-
Please do not contact the answering service for snow issues; all concerns should be sent via email to avoid clogging the system for more important issues such as leaks or flooding. We will be checking email periodically throughout the weekend. Removal of snow from your parking space does not constitute an emergency so please do not contact the answering service in this regard.
-
We have been in touch with the snow vendor, and we will keep you posted, when they will be ready to clear parking spaces.Check your email regularly; this does not equate that as soon as it stops snowing, they will be there clearing spaces. The first priority is to keep the main roadway clear for emergency access. It will take one to two days after the storm is over to clean up properly; please be patient. Once we have notified you of the time frame for clearing of spaces, please be sure your car is cleaned off and ready to be moved. This will help the timeliness of the clean-up.
-
We recommend using flashlights and battery operated lanterns in the case of an outage vs. candles.
-
Children should not be outside while the plows are there as it is difficult to see kids behind drifts or blowing conditions.
Most importantly, be patient and stay safe.
IF YOU DO NOT RESIDE AT THE PROPERTY, PLEASE SHARE THIS COMMUNICATION WITH YOUR TENANT(S).
Thank you for your anticipated cooperation.
